A longer screenshot.

Quick answers for the iPhone and iPad app, coming soon to the App Store. Looking for Android support?

Make a long screenshot

  1. Start recording. Tap Create a long screenshot and follow the animated guide. Keep Infinite Screenshot selected, then tap Share Entire Screen or Start Broadcast. After the countdown, tap outside Apple’s panel to dismiss it.
  2. Open your content. Switch to the app you want to capture. Swipe up to move from the top of the page toward the bottom.
  3. Stop and come back. Stop recording, then return to Infinite Screenshot. Keep it open while your image is created.
  4. Keep it. Choose Save image, or Export for a PNG image or PDF document. A copy is also kept in Your images.

Apple may call its confirmation Start Broadcast or Share Entire Screen. Keep Infinite Screenshot selected. Recordings started in the app stay on your device and include no audio.

Already captured it?

Video to long screenshot
Choose a screen recording of scrolling content from Photos. To use a file from another app, send it through the iOS share sheet.
Stitch images
Choose photos or screenshots. Crop with the visible handles, rotate individual images, and drag to reorder. Select Vertical or Horizontal and check the live preview before tapping Stitch. Matching content is not required; repeated content is not automatically removed.
Share to Infinite Screenshot
In Photos or Files, select images or a screen recording and tap Share. Choose Infinite Screenshot, then return to the app to continue. If it is not visible, look under More in the share sheet.

Pick up where you left off

Imported videos and image arrangements are saved on your device. Tap Continue where you left off on the home screen to reopen them. Image order, crops, rotations, and direction are kept. Video processing starts again from the saved recording.

In Stitch images, Save & close keeps your arrangement for later. To remove unfinished work, open its menu and choose Discard draft. Your original images remain in Photos or Files. Let an import finish before leaving the app so its source files can be saved.

Quick answers

Why is only part of my scroll ready?

A clean join needs matching visible content. Fast jumps, changing layouts, moving video, and protected screens can prevent a complete result. You can save the verified part or try again.

Scroll steadily, keep the same orientation, and let content load. Pauses are fine. Recording stops just before two minutes; very long images may also reach the image-size limit.

Do I need to come back to the app?

Yes. After recording, return to Infinite Screenshot and keep it open while it creates your image. If processing is interrupted, retry or reopen the saved recording from Continue where you left off. Keep the app open during processing; this does not resume midway through a video.

How do I stop a webpage capture?

Open the globe button to capture a web page. While it captures, tap Stop to finish at the content reached so far, including on pages that keep loading more.

Why can’t I save to Photos?

Allow Infinite Screenshot to add photos in Settings. You can also choose Share and save to Files.

Where are my images and recordings?

Open Your images to reopen, name, share, or delete a completed image. Use Select to share or delete several together. Deleting it here leaves copies in Photos or Files intact. Recordings are kept separately and can be retried, shared, or deleted from the recordings list.

Which devices are supported?

The iPhone and iPad app requires iOS or iPadOS 17 or later.
