1. Privacy summary
No user account is required to use Infinite Screenshot. The app may use third-party services from Google for advertising, consent management, and Google Play purchases. Those services can process device or transaction-related information as described below.
2. Information and data the app handles
Screenshot content
When you start a capture, the app processes screen images needed to create the long screenshot you requested. The resulting JPG is stored locally on your device in app/device storage. Infinite Screenshot does not intentionally transmit the contents of those screenshots to our servers because we do not operate a screenshot cloud-storage service.
App preferences and state
The app may store local preferences such as capture settings, free/Pro feature state, consent state, and other settings required to operate the app. These values are stored on-device unless a third-party service such as Google Play Billing separately maintains purchase information within your Google account.
Website
This developer website is a static informational website. In the version delivered by us, it does not use analytics, advertising tags, account login, or tracking cookies. Your hosting provider may nevertheless process standard server logs (for example, IP address, request time, browser information, and requested URL) for hosting, security, and reliability purposes under its own terms and privacy practices.
3. Android permissions and sensitive APIs
Infinite Screenshot uses permissions and platform capabilities only to provide its capture workflow. See our Permissions & Accessibility page for a plain-language explanation.
| Capability | Why it is used | How data is handled |
|---|---|---|
| Accessibility Service | To perform user-initiated scrolling gestures after you start a capture. | The service is used for the capture automation workflow. It is not intended to autonomously operate your device. |
| Display over other apps | To show the floating GO / capture controls over the page being captured. | Used to display controls; not to upload other-app data. |
| Screen capture / image processing | To capture frames and stitch them into one long screenshot. | Processed for the requested capture and saved locally as an image file. |
Where Google Play requires a prominent in-app disclosure and affirmative consent for sensitive capabilities, that disclosure is presented in the app before the relevant capability is enabled.
4. Advertising and consent
The free version may display a banner advertisement on the Home screen using Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, ad interactions, diagnostic information, and other data needed to deliver, measure, secure, and personalize or limit advertising depending on your consent choices and region.
For users in regions where consent is required, the app uses a consent flow intended to collect and respect applicable advertising choices before requesting ads. You can use the in-app Privacy and cookie settings control, when available for your region, to revisit those choices.
Google's handling of information is governed by Google's own privacy and advertising policies. Infinite Screenshot does not sell your screenshot contents to advertisers.
5. Google Play purchases
Infinite Screenshot offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade through Google Play Billing. Payment card details are processed by Google Play and are not provided to us. The app receives purchase-related information needed to determine whether the Pro product is purchased, pending, acknowledged, restored, or unavailable. Google may maintain transaction history in your Google account under its own terms.
6. Retention and deletion
Locally saved screenshots remain on your device until you delete them, clear relevant app/device storage, or uninstall the app where Android removes the applicable app-specific storage. Local preferences may remain until cleared or uninstalled, subject to Android backup/restore behavior.
Because Infinite Screenshot does not require an account, there is no Infinite Screenshot account profile to delete. If you contact us for support, we retain the correspondence only as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
Third-party providers, including Google, apply their own retention practices to information they process.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
- You can decline or disable Accessibility Service and overlay access in Android settings, although capture automation may then be unavailable.
- You can delete screenshot files from the app/device.
- You can choose not to purchase Pro.
- Where the advertising consent interface is available, you can change your privacy choices from the app's privacy settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or information about processing of personal data. Contact us to exercise rights that apply to data we control.
8. Children
Infinite Screenshot is a general-purpose utility and is not designed or directed specifically to children under 13. We do not knowingly operate an account system that solicits personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us through support correspondence, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the app's design. However, no device, network, storage medium, or third-party service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to screenshots stored on your device and for considering whether captured content contains sensitive information before sharing it.
10. International processing
Third-party services used by the app, including Google services, may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Those providers are responsible for the safeguards and transfer mechanisms applicable to their processing.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, applicable requirements, or service providers change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or store listing where appropriate.
